Lighting Design for Traditional Interiors: An Evening with Anne Kustner of AKLD Lighting Design

  • Sound Specialists Showroom 1661 North Elston Avenue Chicago, IL, 60642 United States (map)

The ICAA Luminaries Young Professionals invites you to a special presentation on the importance of lighting design in traditional interiors. As a leading Chicago lighting designer, Anne Kustner Haser will demonstrate how thoughtful lighting decisions used in conjunction with modern technologies elevate the user experience. Anne will guide us through the nuanced art of a well-lit interior, as we see in-person how color temperature, beam angles, and other technical components can have an emotional impact on its users.

Anne Kustner Haser, IALD, IES, LEED-AP began AKLD Lighting Design 28 years ago, designing projects in hospitality, commercial, retail, houses of worship and luxury residential, coast-to-coast and in 9 countries. Anne strongly believes in education and developing the future of the lighting industry. She has taught at the university level and at AIA, IALD, and IES conferences, as well as a variety of AIA/CES accredited programs.

Please join us for an evening of cocktails, mingling, learning and live demos. This event is generously hosted in conjunction with Lutron and Sound Specialists. Thank you to Luminaries committee member Garren Hatley for organizing this event.
