The Luminaries present: Professional Development Workshop: How to Harness the Power of Perception

  • Elm Surfaces 1455 West Hubbard Street Chicago, IL, 60642 United States (map)

In the world of design, communication is everything. Join the ICAA Luminaries Young Professionals and discover the power of observing with intention and storytelling with clarity. We will explore how small shifts in perception and enhanced observation can elevate design solutions, strengthen client relationships, and improve team collaboration.

Learn why paying attention to both verbal and non-verbal cues, alongside establishing genuine connections, is crucial in the design process. From capturing client needs to presenting ideas with impact, participants will gain practical tools to convey their vision effectively and with precision. This special workshop will be led by architectural designer and Luminaries committee member, Yesha Mody. Light refreshments will be served.

Thank you to our sponsor, Elm Surfaces. Elm supplies large format porcelain, ceramic tiles, engineered wood, terracotta, zellige tiles, brick veneer and much more. They work heavily in the luxury multi-family, hospitality and retail space with AD firms across the country.
