After a careful review of the entries and spirited discussion, the jury has decided to recognize two projects with Honorable Mentions. Both projects were commended for repairing the fragmented urban fabric and reconstructing the architectural character of the blocks.

All the competitors offered thoughtful proposals in response to the competition site, one of several locations for which the City of Chicago has solicited ideas from Chicago architects, with the objective of renewing the vitality of struggling neighborhoods.

The jury commends and thanks all entrants for their contributions, as the Chicago-Midwest Chapter of the ICAA actively engages with the important work of improving the built environment in Chicago.
